There are not enough words that can express how much the Family, Friends, and the Community can thank the Westminster Police Department, The FBI, all other law enforcement agencies that have helped in Jessica's Case, and the men and women at the command post taking phone calls to help insure that there is Justice for Jessica. I wanted to take time to create this page to show our appreciation for all of there efforts.
All of your hard work and dedication has been a drive force in this community and it will continue to be. There is still a lot of work to do, but we are confident that Justice will come

I have so much admiration and respect for the Investigators and everyone else who is working day and night to find the killer. As a mom of a 10-year old girl, I want to DO something. I feel like we are all sitting in wait until we hear a new Amber Alert. This person may be a monster, but he is still one human being. Can we somehow form community groups to watch our neighborhoods closer? Can we make phone calls to advise people who may not know all of the information? There must be something we can do other than wait. Can we borrow bloodhounds and walk the streets? Anything?
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time of sadness. Jessica is in God’s hands now and with the angels. Jessica is watching over all of you and remembering all of the love she received from a wonderful family, that is you. Be strong and hold onto all the memories you have together.
Thank you for all you do and for being on top of this case to find the killer of this pure and innocent child. I can only imagine how you all feel to get closure on such a national case. Keep up the great work and we all think YOU are great! I know you will find the truth soon enough. God Bless you ALL!
A prayer for strength and perseverance for the officers on this case who are witnessing this all first hand. A prayer that God leads them in their investigation to find and convict the perpetrator. A prayer for grace to abound in the heart of that person who did this horrific act, that he will feel remorse and turn himself in.
Go law enforcement! One day is just an ordinary day then a trajedy like this hits and it takes everything you have to cope with the situation. sometimes looking at a problem as what the murder would not do versus the plan of what he’s doing. These abductors/killers are afraid of the law more than anything. standard to think they can out smart the cops. You have the resources to follow him to eternity. He knows your just a few steps behind him will make him mess up. he’s hid in some neighborhood but you can bet every police car , uniform he sees, hes a nervous wreck. i would bet hes acting like a saint afraid to get stopped for any ticket.
He’s hoping the media coverage will die down but the police are never going to let up. How many crime shows did this guy watch thinking he could get away with such a hideous crime.
Put more dogs 5 miles in each direction from Jessicas house.
Dogs still have that scent to track a hair from that killer. Every possible item that can help the police as I know the public wants used. The police are the best and they deserve the best equipment to catch this guy. Every cop i see i give them a wave as this is when above all else they do the job.
Thank all law enforcement as i’m sure its the toughest work in the world. just a note – has anyone checked libraries, or like kinkoes to see if anyone has spent a lot of time on computers reading about Jessicas case? This murderer probably wouldn’t use his own computer. Kinkoes or some open computer place might recognize some new person that has started using computers from time of Jessica disappearence. no one wants to give more things for police to have to read but even having law enforcement academys or students think of what this murderer is trying to do to avoid detection. no matter what the police are probably up against some one who has watched all those tv shows on how they catch criminals – so to have any different input might jar something. It for sure will be straight police work that will get this guy but the police have to be totally tired working so hard on this case.
when you get over tired it is easy to miss something right in front of you. It is not so much tunnel vision but the police are giving their all and you know they can’t rest even if they should. – Just pray for the police.
I am so thankful they found her because I feel it would be much worse on family, friends not knowing! You all are truly great people working on this case. May God bless you all!
HUGE THANK YOU and HUGE HUGS for the law enforcement and many other dedicated individuals that spend endless hours trying to put together information and clues to bring about justice for this little girl, Jessica!!!
This had touched so many people and we just are so blessed to have a great team of officers helping out in every way they can. I have 100% confidence that they will find this person and give closure to the Ridgeway family!!! This has made us all more aware of our surroundings and beleive me everyone is looking out!!!
You are right!! Because we have to aware everywhere!!!
Hopefully more tips will come in from that lake area where the first women fought off this killer. He might have watched her from the moment she made the entrance to that area.
The only problem is you can’t have more people tread the ground. any one in that area who remembers details still should have an officer go with them. they say the killer usually goes back to crime scene so it is vital to notify police before going in that area alone. Dog walkers, joggers, may even remember some details. people who live next to that area should try and jog their memories of some one even parking in front of their house. the killer might even have a relative close by that area. There should not have to be a crime stoppers reward for info. all communities need this man out of society . After hes caught people will get on tv etc but it is vital they come forward now while info is fresh and can be acted upon. there will be snow soon so no one should just assume the police have enough info or what they might have seen is not important. Any one with info needs to put their personal lives on the back burner and remember it could be any ones daughter just walking to school on any given day. That women who fought him off is probably racking her brain trying to envision every detail to help police. She is extremely brave and thankfully she reported. The police will get this guy no matter how he tries to avoid capture.
Cops got him. they are the best!!!
Thank you WPD and all others that have worked so hard to find justice and to keep our kiddos safe. Light and Love to all, stay safe and once again… Thank you from the bottom of this mothers heart.
THANK YOU SO MUCH WPD, CBI AND FBI. You all are amazing and though it doesnt give much closure to Jessicas family because they will forever feel the pain of her being gone. You have put a sick person off the streets and hopefully her family will get the justic that they deserve. Thank you for working day and night like the heros you are to make sure that no other person will get her by him…. Thank you soooooo much again!
I lived in CO for most of my life and moved to AZ but I will always be a Coloradoan. I cannot tell you how proud I am of Westminster PD for the wonderful job that they have done and continue to do in the investigation of Jessica Ridgeway’s murder. The ability to keep key evidence and facts out of the media is amazing! We all know that one slip, one rush to get the exclusive interview, one secret told, any of those can destroy a case. To everyone that has helped on this case, God Bless YOU. It has to be difficult, a baby was taken far to soon, my heart breaks for the family, for the officers, investigators, everyone involved.
Thank you again for the wonderful job you are doing!
The Westy PD and all that were involved in finding Justice for Jessica, you are true American heroes. You have giving your time, effort, hearts, and souls to hunt down and deliver a child killer to justice. I live 3 blocks from Jessica and now my kids can go outside and play again. Thank you is so shallow to say to all of you, God bless you is not much better. There should be a parade for your sacrifice and hard work..Keep up the God work. Yes God work..
Thank God for your police system and working on this investigation. This bring some closure and makes the community feel some safety. I followed this case since the first time I saw it. I’m still praying for the family and I’m glad that the mother turned her son in. There are many other criminals that go unaware like this young man. I think we all as citizens of community need to make parents and the community aware of such crimes. We also need to make school have workshops prior to the first days of school aware about students walking in pairs or groups when leaving their homes. We must do everything we can to protect our children. It’s not even safe for a child to use a public restroom by themselves because of criminal minded individuals. Please continue to do workshops or have public awareness about safety with parents and adults because really no one is safe even if you think you are. My daughter 17 year old works at Food Lion gets off at night sat outside one night waiting for me to pick her up and when I saw her outside I told her completely off about being out there by herself. She had a attitude but I put her in check about murders and she better not try that again or she will be unemployed. Praying for your community to heal and work together. Because of this story, I will be working with parents at my children school and my church to bring about awareness of safety for children. Jessica’s story has made many parents and communities aware of the true reality of the world that criminals are always around, watching, and ready to destroy lives. May God’s words comfort the family and community.
Thank you for your continued efforts to find justice for this precious girl. Your sacrifice to help her family is greatly appreciated. May God bless you all.
I can not imagine the hardships of your job. I know that at times it must seem overwhelming. I know your just people like us, who have no real clue what would make any person behave with so much evil intention.
We appreciate that you keep going, even when you have to see the ugliest side of mankind. We hope you take care of yourselves and your families too because WE NEED YOU!
Thank you, our hero’s.
Thank you Westminster Police Department for seeking out and finding this low life piece of garbage that killed Jessica. Thank you for turning up the heat and not backing down one bit. We all feel a bit safer now that this evil coward monster is locked up. However because of this horrible tragedy we are all looking out for each others safety, our awareness to those around us has heightened.
Thank you to the Westminster Police Department, F.B.I., Arvada Police Department and all Volenteers as well as all that were involved in searching, and bringing to justice the low life scum on the face of the earth that did this to my Grandaughter. May God Bless each and everyone of you. Thank you for a job very well done. Thank you Thank you. I personally feel that you all went above and beyond. I am greatful that you were there and I would hope that none of you would ever have to go through anything like this again. Thank you again for all that you all do to keep the community safe. God Bless each and every one of you and your families too.
